Christian Mens Job Corps Wichita Falls

Jose Egoavil was born in Caracas, Venezuela and raised in Miami, Florida. When
he graduated high school, he entered the United States Air Force. While active
duty military, he met His wife Donna and they married in 1984. They have three
children. Serving in the armed forces gave him the privilege of experiencing
different cultures and nationalities; spending time in Iceland, England, Virginia,
Colorado, South Carolina, Florida and finally arriving in Wichita Falls, Texas in
July of 1996.

Jose began serving as Executive Director of Christian Men's Job Corps (CMJC) in
June, 2010. Preparing him for the position was his experience working as Director
of Recruitment for the Twogether in Texas program, a pre-marital education
program for five counties and his twenty-six years active duty Air Force career. As
Director of Recruitment, he was responsible for making the community aware of
the program benefits, recruiting volunteers and facilitating workshops. By serving
as manager/administrator his last twelve years at Sheppard, Air Force Base in the
Instructional Technology Unit, Jose developed interactive courseware, managed,
taught and mentored new troops.

In addition to his career, he regularly volunteered in numerous positions throughout the community which include:
children's pastor, Bible teacher, marriage educator/mentor, Drug Education for the Youth (DEFY) program manager
just to name a few.

Complementing his work experiences are his two degrees: an associates degree in Education and Training
Management from the Community College of the Air Force and a Bachelors of Education from Wayland Baptist
University.

Jose is passionate about leading men into a relationship with Christ, helping them build a strong Biblical
foundation and fulfill their God given destiny just as Paul stated in Ephesians 1:17-18 " But I do more than thank. I
ask-ask the God of our Master, Jesus Christ, the God of glory-to make you intelligent and discerning in knowing him
personally, your eyes focused and clear, so that you can see exactly what it is he is calling you to do, grasp the
immensity of this glorious way of life he has for Christians, …" TMG

Together, these opportunities have more than prepared Jose for the daily responsibilities & duties in his role as
Executive Director of CMJC.
